Took a drive around the V8 Supercar racetrack at Sydney Olympic Park today.
Shot some video, got some looks from the traffic control people I drove past 9 or 10 times with a camera mounted to a different part of the car each time.
This is just the teaser for a video I will be finishing soon enough.
Applications: Adobe After Effects.

I couldn’t sleep tonight, so I went for a drive with my Nikon D90 and a 50mm lens to have some fun.
For this video, I was just interested in experimenting with focus. I matched the focus of the text with the changing focus of the video to make the text seem more a part of the scene.
Applications: Adobe After Effects CS5.
Equipment: Nikon D90, 50mm f/1.8 lens.

Acts of Random Kindness - Free Roses (by goodforyourinsides)
Whilst hanging out in Newtown sampling the fine mexican foods and drinks from Guzman y Gomez, we happened upon a young girl handing out free roses.
She stopped us in the middle of the footpath and held out a rose. She didn’t say too much, just gave us this rose with no explanation and left.
We wanted to share the love by passing the rose onto someone else, but found that it’s harder to give away a rose than it is to give people pamphlets.
We saw the girl with the roses across the street and took our opportunity to find out what she was up to.
This video is inspiration for a movement. A social movement aimed at spreading happiness, through acts of random kindness.
Follow us at http://freeark.org
Upload your own stories and acts of kindness and let us know!
And finally, if you know the girl in the video, or maybe you ARE the girl in the video, could you please message me, we would love to speak to you again! Message on this youtube channel, or on twitter @markislav.

I shot a short piece of video the other day whilst at lunch with Rommel and Leo at St Leonards Forum.
I wanted to test out compositing elements into a video. I also was playing with image stabilization and seeing how that worked.
This video is far from a finished product. Just a test.
Something I learned from this was shooting video with an 8mm Fisheye lens makes compositing elements into the video extremely awkward. I wonder if I can distort my stock footage to match the roundness of the fisheye video…
Expect bigger and better things from me in the future!
